    John Cartwright #79 get's under Lanny Pemberton

    John's car still is alive and running, Len had it at Wed. Car Show
    in El Cajon. it will be around for car shows, but not racing.

    John Dineen in the 86 and

    I worked on John's Cajon cars for 5 years,- #86 orange in 72( at South Bay), the first red white and blue #86, the petty blue and fluorescent red #86, the red white and blue front wheel drive 1965 #13 mustang,the red 73 mach 1 #13, the number 9 Marck Motors Winston West torino and the 70 Thunderbird Winston cup car We were 9th in points in Winston west in 75 and John was rookie of the year. Then I started working on Sprint, midget and Indy cars....

      If I remember right- Bucky drove for Jim Bridges in 1971 And before that the Cartwright Insurance Special, a tan 57 Chevy convertable- Can't quite drege up the number though.

    Dale Durbin's first ever USAC win came at Cajon.

    Dale used to help us on Billy Allen's CRA sprint car, he bought his midget after he won the lottery....

    Skip was a great guy off the track but if you done him wrong on the track there could have been repercussions from Rotten Ralphie.

    LI watched ever race I could leaning against the last fencepost- One night Mark Norris #99 hit RIGHT there and I just moved behind the fence! I think he hurt his leg, it was on top of the dashboard when he stopped!
    And the #6- Jenson was the first to use coil over shocks and front discs off of a Lincoln
